Program
In order to meet the demands of Quebec City’s contemporary dance community, L’Artère focuses its program activities in two priority areas: advanced training and development.

Advanced training
In order to meet the training requirements of contemporary dance interpreters, L’Artère organizes a series of various classes. These advanced training activities can take the form of technical classes, (seminars?) or intensive workshops in contemporary dance (or a relevant, related discipline).
The various series of classes are made possible thanks to the support of regular partners: Première Ovation danse, Regroupement québécois de la danse and the Conseil régional de la culture Chaudière-Appalaches.
*One-time classes may also be added to the annual series in the form of self-managed classes.
Development
L’Artère also holds networking events in order to maximize interactions between Quebec City’s dance professionals and to foster meetings with visiting artists.
Based on the specific needs of the community and/or the presence of influent artists from outside Quebec City, these activities take the form of networking cocktails or talks about specific themes.
